My plan was to not post anything about the massive historical moment currently going on, but I am breaking it because I am PLOTZING over this moment from Vanessa Hudgens’ Instagram live.
I don’t enjoy her message, obviously, but I am delighted by the ways in which social media is almost too revealing about true thoughts. She RESPECTS the virus. RESPECTS IT.
Listen, I know actors are not their characters, but I’ve always thought that Gabriela was way inferior in talent, personality, and ambition than Sharpay. Also, I think about her matching snakeskin skirt and boots outfit at least once a month. We were all wrong.
Outside of troubled times, I love lurking on sanctimonious parenting, but suddenly everyone is sharing how to create schedules for your kids and how to keep them thriving and learning at home. [As my brother says, his kids don’t care about taking virtual museum tours.] So let’s be real about it:
I have SOOOO much to say about this, but I’ll save it. We have a lot of time.
But really, stay off Twitter. It’s a seductive trap.
